Kitty in the garden was my
first effort after a long time away from active participation in art. This original
acrylic painting was inspired by the family cat. His name is "Bear".
Named so because, as a kitten, he would stand on his hind legs, trying to look
"big and scary", much the same way a bear does. It was comical,
entertaining, brought the family much laughter and earned him his name. This
painting was created using a photograph of the cat. The flowers come from my
imagination, using the "One-Stroke" painting technique by Donna Dewberry.
